Welcome

My name is Tracy St. John, although I most commonly respond to Miss St. John, and I believe that teaching is the only job for me. I am passionate, energetic, and creative in not only my love for teaching, but most importantly in my love for my students that I teach! I was most recently a 2nd grade teacher in Ashland, Ohio and previously was an English teacher at a local elementary school in Taiwan. My love for my job shines through my classroom and on each of my students’ faces.  

Before moving my life to Taiwan to explore the adventures of teaching abroad and gain invaluable ESL teaching experience, I taught 1^st grade at a Catholic Elementary School in Ashland, Ohio. Through each of these unique these teaching experiences I have had the opportunity to work with children and teachers alike from all walks of life and socioeconomic statuses and have tailored my teaching practices appropriately to each of these new environments.

My passions for creating and technology are shown both in my explicit teaching practices as well as in my students’ individual work. I work endlessly to show students their own learning potential and push them to always present the best version of themselves in and out of our classroom.
